Maintenance Mode in WordPress

What is Maintenance Mode in WordPress?
- Temporary State: Maintenance mode is a feature in WordPress that allows you to hide your website from public view while you make significant changes behind the scenes.
- Visitor Experience: When in maintenance mode, visitors will see a customizable message or page explaining that the site is under construction, instead of your usual content.
- Admin Access: Administrators (those logged into the WordPress backend) can still access the site, make updates, and preview changes.
Let’s activate the Maintenance Mode module:
Step 1 – Setup:
- Log in to your WordPress website.
- Make sure you have UltimaKit for WP Pro installed and activated.
- Go to the “WP UltimaKit” menu.
- Find the “Maintenance Mode” and turn it on.
Step 2 – Configure:
- Activate maintenance mode: Activate maintenance mode.
- Message: Configure the message displayed on the maintenance mode screen.
- Title Font Size: Set the font size for your maintenance mode heading.
- Font Color: Set the color of your maintenance mode heading.
- Overlay Background Color: Set the background overlay color for your maintenance mode screen.
- Background Image: Select a background image for your maintenance mode screen.
